We strengthen women’s land and economic rights while promoting agroecology, safer agricultural practices, sustainable enterprises and climate resilient livelihoods. Our work supports women to become more productive, economically secure and better able to participate in decisions affecting their land, livelihoods and communities.
Projects and Partners
- UAF Africa: 2024: Agroecology awareness, capacity building and advocacy on safer agricultural practices: 153 women reached, including engagement with private sector actors on safer pesticide practices.
- SWEDO 2024: Sustainable business development and safer agricultural practices for women in Mpigi, Wakiso, Masaka and Kalungu: 211 women reached.
- BIKO Foundation 2025: Capacity building for 230 women on sustainable agroecology practices and land rights.
- UAF Africa 2025: Women’s land rights advocacy, community engagement, policy dialogue and training of 50 resource persons, including engagement with the Ministry responsible for lands.
- Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MOGLSD) / UWEP Soroti: Economic inclusion of women groups engaged in agribusiness through capacity building and policy advocacy.
